The aim of the Scottish Community Drama Association is the development of amateur drama in Scotland particularly on a community basis. The Association binds together amateur societies throughout the country and offers them advice, encouragement and practical help in the furtherance of their aims.

Membership is open to any dramatic society in Scotland and to any individual member anywhere who sympathises with the aims of the association. membership is renewed annually on 1st July each year.
